Bryce Mounsey - Owner/Director

Bryce MounseyBryce has over thirteen years of experience in the funeral and monumental industry and is a competent funeral director and embalmer.

Having worked for the previous owners for six and a half years, Bryce had the opportunity to purchase the business in 2004 and continues to be actively involved in all aspects of the business.

Bryce comes from a 20 year professional banking background, has an eye for detail and always looks for opportunities to put his artistic skills to good use.

As a qualified monumental mason Bryce is able to carry out all aspects of memorial and headstone work - whether it is a refurbishment of an existing memorial or making a choice for a new one - Bryce will ensure a most professional job is done.

Away from work Bryce enjoys family time with his wife Carla; daughters Melanie and Stephanie; and wee son, Cameron. Bryce attends church at Lakeside Christian Life Centre in Huntly, is a member of the Huntly Lions club and serves on the Huntly Community Board. Interests include collecting diecast model cars and trucks; boasting a pretty impressive model hearse collection. If the weather forecast is fine and work allows it you may even find him out enjoying a ride on his 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6 sports motorbike.

Glenn Rogers

Bryce MounseyIn 1999 Glenn experienced the sad loss of his grandmother, and wanted to be there for his mother and assist with making the funeral arrangements. This inspired him to become a funeral director and he started training as a funeral assistant with a large firm in Auckland. He began his training there for three years and undertook many duties including maintaining a police contract and assisting in the day to day operations of funeral service. Glenn now has ten years experience in funeral service and embalming and continues to further his training constantly.

Glenn has now settled in Huntly and is proud to be part of the Haven Funeral Services team. He continues to further his training and prides himself on being able to assist the families that he has the privilege of providing care for. In his personal time Glenn is an active member of the Huntly Lions Club, The Mx5 Club, breeds and shows his beloved beagles, enjoy’s music, Ceroc dancing, reads extensively and is also a keen cinema enthusiast.
